At World of Fitness, we have a unique approach to delivering fitness activities that have been specifically designed to support and empower people to lead healthier, more active and happier lives.

Our facilities and services are excellent and unique within the fitness industry – not only does the community participate as individuals and groups but services can be ‘tailored’ to meet the challenges and demands of the wider community. Our fully refurbished, multi-purpose studio is available through our booking service – providing a diverse and innovative solution to physical activity and this is extended to all areas of the facility.

As an all-inclusive facility we provide a separate ladies-only area and all areas of the premises are wheelchair accessible. Our ‘state of the art’ gym equipment is colour coded to benefit users with learning difficulties and offers an additional language option. Our toning table suite allows the most sedate user to participate and is perfect for rehabilitation.

Our dedicated team of instructors and coaches (including both staff on payroll and volunteers) are experienced in working in the community and are backed up by essential qualifications in their area of expertise and compliance documentation.

To encourage participation, we offer contemporary activities such as Hip Hop, Street Dance and Cheerleading that are especially popular with young people and we extend the participation to performance and competition level thereby recognising, encouraging and supporting talent. We are the most successful boxing club in Leeds and our young boxers and coaches regularly prove their capabilities by representing both the County and indeed the Country at the highest level of competition.

We extend our services to the wider community offering all sessions and programmes from satellite sites. This involves working in partnership with local health agencies, schools, colleges and community groups in order to offer a complete and cohesive approach to improved fitness and well-being at low cost.

Our traditional membership base sustains the work we do in the community. Our first priority is to be able to offer our services and modern, clean and professional facilities at affordable prices to the whole community.

There’s much promotion of the concept of social enterprise at the present time – across many different government initiatives and the political spectrum as a whole. For us, at World of Fitness, we see the social enterprise model as the most effective and powerful way to generate social and financial change for the collective benefit of all.
