Four Bateson’s boxers from World of Fitness are through to the semi finals of the Golden Gloves Amateur Boxing Championships this weekend in Liverpool.Qais Ashfaq, Damon Jones, Ben Jones and Andrea Moulden are representing World of Fitness in the Championships and hoping to bring back the title to Leeds for the third year running.

This fantastic news rounds off an amazing week for World of Fitness as Ben Jones wins the much coveted Junior Sportsman Of The Year 2008 and Anne Batson, Executive Director, is invited to join the Board of Sport Leeds.

World of Fitness are also delighted that the yorkshire aba have confirmed they will be hosting an International Boxing Tournament with boxers from Canada and England Canada at the Royal Armouries on Friday 27th June 2008. Tickets will be on sale in from March, with profits going to help young sports men and women from around the region with training and competitive costs .

The Black Tie event will involve a three course meal, boxing show, awards, entertainment and you will have the opportunity to mix with some of the UK’s top Sporting Personalities. You will also be able to bid for signed sports memorabilia and enter a raffle for an extra special prize.

This is not only an ideal opportunity to reward your staff, entertain your clients and experience a wonderful night in the company of some of the UK’s top Sports Personalities, but it is also the perfect opportunity to show your support for the future of sport.
